Fullmetal Alchemist OVA collection set to be Released Later this Year

The North American anime distributor Funimation has confirmed at the Ohayocon event on Saturday that it has acquired the Fullmetal Alchemist: Premium Collection original video animation (OVA) set. Funimation will release the set on a single DVD in late 2009. According to Funimation’s Adam Sheehan, the DVD will include “everything that was on the Japanese DVD release — uncut, subbed, and dubbed.”

The Premium Collection’s Japanese release features the “Seven Homunculi VS State Alchemists” short and three DVD shorts that shipped after the 2005 Fullmetal Alchemist movie: “Live Action,” “Chibi Party,” and “Kids.” These shorts were the last animated footage created for the Fullmetal Alchemist “dark fantasy” franchise — at least, until this coming April, when the new television adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s original manga premieres. My First Anime Boxset

After a long awaited time I finally got my first anime box set. My older sister got it for me for my birthday and just got it at around Christmas time. I got all the episodes of Elfen Lied on two dvd disc. Basically I got the box set known as the “Perfect Collection” with all 13 episodes and some of the art work in the extra section of the DVD menu—I think. I haven’t gone through everything in the menus yet. Below are a few images I have taken of this box set. It nothing really special but I love this series. (This is the front of the DVD case) (This is the back side of the Elfen Lied boxset) (Finally the inside of the Elfen Lied box set with the two dvds. First dvd has episodes 1-10, second dvd has episodes 11-13.)

Last thing I would like to mention is that I also got a Naruto 2009 calender for Christmas. But to tell you guys that truth I haven’t watched Naruto yet. I still like the calenders though. Here is the front of the calender.

First Post of 2009 (random updates)

Well it’s a new year and sorry for the delayed post. But anyways, I’ve been quite busy and have had record snow fall where I live so my Internet connection hasn’t been too desirable.

First off I had first watching season 2 of Rosario + Vampire Capu2. I really wasn’t too impressed with it as I was with the first season. But i guess it maybe because of the bat/teddy bear censorship. I found it to be a bit distracting. I think I may have to check out the manga as I have heard it has more of a story plot to it unlike the anime.

Other brief updates I have added an affiliates section to my blog. And I have a new affiliate which is my friend’s site called link and web site no longer online where I’m a moderator in the forums there. So if you can just check out this site. Feel free to join in the forums and start talking with other anime fans.

Now if anyone else would like to become an affiliate with this blog. First you site must be anime or manga related in some shape or form. You must add my link to your site in order to affiliate with my blog. I will be creating some banners and button for my blog here soon that you may add. At the moment I will only use your site’s link because I’m actually working on redesigning my blog’s layout from scratch. So until I finish that I’m only going to use links for my affiliates. I will update more on how to affiliate with my site as well as how to contact me if you would like to affiliate with me.

Long time no update New Year 2009 (Old Rukun blog post)

Well it’s been awhile since I updated this blog so I think it about that time for massive updates. The first part here with in a month I will be change my blog layout/design. I’ll be doing a new design from scratch which I will make conform to XHTML standards, I’ll be working on a site map (maybe) as well. Next thing is that I actually haven’t been all that active in clicking ads and such until about recently because of that massive record snowfall that I have been getting in the area I live. I basically had little to no Internet connectivity because I have a Satellite ISP. Next massive update is a bunch of the sites I’m currently a member are going to be considered a scam or a waste of my time. But I won’t have this ready until about probably next month when I will have time to review potential affiliate sites and a way for contacting my. I might also make a space for people to advertise a banner or two on my site but since I trying to write my own script for the I might not have that for a while. That’s about it for the moment. December Updates

Well its a new month so I might as well post some updates. There really isn’t too much new, but I must say I’ve just started watching Soul Eater not that long ago. I’m almost finished watching the second season of Rosario + Vampire, I’ve finished up watching the third season of Zero no Tsukaima: Princess no Rondo. I haven’t finished any manga or even sat down and start reading any. I might just have to do that soon. At least finish reading Unbalance x Unbalance.

New Adult Swim Saturday Schedule

Well, it seems that Adult Swim has again changed Saturday’s line up. This time it seems to be a much better line up then the previous one mentioned in an earlier post of mine. This mean that there is more anime and Code Geass and Moribito are on at a earlier time. November Updates (Old Rukun Blog post 2008)

Well looks like I’ve been slcaking off on this blog lately. So lets get somethings updated. First off there are a few paid-to-click sites that I will no longer be active with for a couple of reasons. Meaning I will be removing or already have removed from my lists. One of the biggest reasons is that for as long as I have been doing this earning online thing I getting really tired of either wasting my time or I’m just overall tired of irresponsible administrators that run some of the sites. I mean just the way that some treat free/standard member is bulls**t. Anyways,, here are a few I already stopped promoting. This doesn’t make them a scam unless I say other wise. NemoClicks Jr. (just feels like a waste of never really ads. No losses though convert cash to ad clicks 5. Alertpaybux (Disappeared, no losses) 6. Buxvisit (Also disappeared, Loss of $1.52 from ad clicks) 7. CoolBuX (new layout, no ads, three email contact just to find out what happen to account after new layout and such. ) —————— Sites I about to stop promoting: 1. Icebux ( I don’t know what is up with this site but it seem to have been sold and under construction page for a long while now. I may come back to this site but it seem to be a waste of time) 2. Anime retail websites get sued for selling Bootleg Anime Dvds

The North American anime distributor FUNimation Productions is suing a group of related companies in Southern California for allegedly selling counterfeit DVDs of its licensed anime on a website. FUNimation is alleging that a California resident named Hae Yong Ro and four affiliated businesses — N Trading, Inc, Discount Anime DVD, BuyDVD.com, and DOES — infringed on FUNimation and its licensers’ copyrights and trademarks by selling unauthorized copies of Fruits Basket, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragonball GT, and Fullmetal Alchemist. Anyways, I found this article to be interesting because it was posted on my birthday and one of the sites was were one of my birthday presents was going to come from. With this said I had to look around and research a bit more to find legitimate anime product retails sites. LOL good thing I didn’t purchase anything from the DiscountAnimeDVD.com site like I was originally planning. I guess to say the it can be quite hard to trust some web site retail stores these days. Especially if you like collecting anime dvd and such.

New Month New Post XD

Well now it’s a new month. So I hope that you all had a Happy Halloween and stuff. It seems I still slacking off on some anime reviews, hopeful I get one or two done this month. I’ve just been kind of busy. Anyways, well I had a pretty good birthday, had some Korean food for my b-day dinner, mmmmm good. Now I’m waiting to see if I will get my Elfen Lied box set that I had asked for. This will be my first box set. Nothing too much else going on. I started watching Someday Dreamers, which isn’t too bad so far. I also am giving Soul Eater a look as well. I’m still watching Bleach, frist season of Code Geass and Moribito, slowly but surely. I finish the second season of Zero no Tsukaima and started the third season. There are a few other animes I have watched from DVD rented from Blockbuster Total access. But I don’t like the selection of anime blockbuster has. Anyways, that’s about it for the moment. Thanks for reading. 😀

Ergo Proxy AMV

This is my first attempt at a AMV (anime music video). I made this video with Nero Vision. I used the second episode for this video, I believe towards the end of the episode. The music that I had used was one of my tracks called “The Golden Rules”. Anyways let me know what you think.
