Hello everyone, and I hope everyone is doing ok. I'm ok and hanging in there. For our global website visitors, we here at Thoughts Of Everything have been going through some major wildfires in our area, and our office is right next to an area that had to be evacuated, where we have been worrying about being next. The news post image at the top is my furbabies we lost years ago but they still watch over our stuff, Maybe help bring these furbabies to thier families.
As the fires are still going, I have been seeing a lot of lost pets due to the craziness of the fires.

So I have been planning the lost pet post for a minute but wasn't planning on starting it right now. So this being said I will be trying my best to provide all information, and I will try to provide updates on any pets if I get any new info. Please bare with me as I am currently the only person working on this project with a lot on my plate.
So, below are all the lost pets I gathered today 8-3-2026. I also shared them on my social media profiles too. I will post what was posted by the author, some images and a link to the original post. Please help these pets get to their owners.
- "Hi everyone, our 2 cats were in our home yesterday that we lost in the fire. Please keep an eye out if you see either one! Holyoke ave, west gate park area." Image 1:
- "Hey, I'm Tesia Blake. I lost my pet cat Toby in the Old Trails Fire. My parents tried to get him out of our old house at 5704 West Houston Avenue in Spokane, WA 99208, but he escaped his carrier and went back into the house.
Our house burned down completely, but there was no sign of Toby there. So he was last seen at 5704 West Houston in Spokane.
If anyone finds him, please, please, PLEASE let me know.

- "Not sure where to post this to, but my great aunt’s home was lost in the Old Trail fire.
She had 3 pets in there she couldn’t get to, but we did hear that a cop at least broke a door down. We’re hoping someone either got them, or maybe they got out before it got too bad…
If you see ANYTHING about any found pets that look like them, please let me know! She lived on W Rifle Club Rd, so they may have been found in that area.
—- There’s a little white poodle (pictured below), and a tri-colored miniature sheltie (I don’t have a picture unfortunately, but I put one from Google that looks very similar), both with pink collars.
—- There’s also a black and white, longish hair kitty with a bit of a skin condition, especially on its ears. Also do not have a picture, I’m sorry.
The poodle and cat may have a microchip for an owner named Mary, who is deceased. My aunt took her animals after she passed.
If you know where to share this, please do, or at least tell me! We’re looking at her property today, hoping not to find anything… but I’m trying to get some kind of word out there while we check different places they could have been brought to. Having a few more eyes would be awesome. ❤️

- "This is a long shot. Horrible picture I’m sorry. Last night during the old trails fire my mom was unable to make it back from out of town to get to their house. Inside was 16yr old Lindsey, black lab mix. She has a dog door and a fenced in back yard. We are praying that somehow she got out or a neighbor opened the gate or grabbed her. She is all black, grey in the face, black eyes, course and greasy hair. She is almost 75% deaf and very slow. She always has a collar on. Please keep an eye out or if you know someone in the Riverside state park neighborhood until we have confirmation that she didn’t make it out." Image here:

This is it for the moment as this stuff has been a bit heavey on my heart on top of everyhting we have all been dealing with before this.
