Hello readers and users. So some of you may have noticed some downtime as the recent. I had moved all my web sites on my business server including Thoughts of Everything to a new server through my reseller web site Rutakus Domains which is part of my company as at the moment Thoughts of Everything is as well. But thoughts of everything isn’t a for profit site as it cost money running this site but I don’t care it is still fun. Anyways, I had moved this site from Asura Hosting because of too many issues, downtime, etc to put it short. All in all the hosting was cheap and for the most part can work for site that don’t have a lot of needs such as a html site. But I had a lot of issues and had to keep coming back and opening the same support tickets for the same thing it seemed. Things that some of the scripts powering some of my websites, for example some of my for profit business sites use licensed code that is encode with ioncube and needs the ioncube loader to decode the encrypted code for PHP to be able to run the script. Lots of downtime and database crashes. I’ve been doing this long enough to know how much downtime one could aspect but then again maybe I sign up at the wrong time. But I had a year of hosting with a reseller package and I did get enough time to fully test.
