November Updates (Old Rukun Blog post 2008)

Well looks like I’ve been slcaking off on this blog lately. So lets get somethings updated. First off there are a few paid-to-click sites that I will no longer be active with for a couple of reasons. Meaning I will be removing or already have removed from my lists. One of the biggest reasons is that for as long as I have been doing this earning online thing I getting really tired of either wasting my time or I’m just overall tired of irresponsible administrators that run some of the sites. I mean just the way that some treat free/standard member is bulls**t. Anyways,, here are a few I already stopped promoting. This doesn’t make them a scam unless I say other wise. And if I do say it is a scam this is only my opinion based off of my experience with the site. Sites I already stopped promoting: 1. Xclix (long over due, disappeared from the face of the net SCAM. Loss of $9.61 from clicking) 2. Titanclicks (SCAM. Loss of $7.12 from click and 5 referrals from PTSUs) 3. Turbobux (SCAM. Loss of $10.53 and 11 referrals from PTSUs and promoting) 4. NemoClicks Jr. (just feels like a waste of never really ads. No losses though convert cash to ad clicks 5. Alertpaybux (Disappeared, no losses) 6. Buxvisit (Also disappeared, Loss of $1.52 from ad clicks) 7. CoolBuX (new layout, no ads, three email contact just to find out what happen to account after new layout and such. ) —————— Sites I about to stop promoting: 1. Icebux ( I don’t know what is up with this site but it seem to have been sold and under construction page for a long while now. I may come back to this site but it seem to be a waste of time) 2. Zubux (No ads to click for a long while, site is being sold admin not payout or active, most likely a SCAM) 3. Foxcash (I’m just not sure about this site anymore) ___________________________________In other updates, TheClickers.net changed the minimum payouts with both paypal and alertpay. The minimum is now $5.50 and can only be requested twice a month. More details can be seen in this forum post: (link removed) This doesn’t really matter to me because I know for a fact that I will be paid by this site. Cash-Harvest has also rised the minimum payout to $2.00 and also can only be requested twice a month.Lastly the administrator of ClixMakeSense Cashhas opened up a new site which looks to be promising. This site is called ClixOfChange. I have now also became a moderator in the forum of these sites.———I first posted this blog post here: https://mrrustexd.blogspot.com/2008/11/november-updates.html, my old blogger blog and is kept for archival purposes.

Anime retail websites get sued for selling Bootleg Anime Dvds

Originally posted on Anime News Network..

The North American anime distributor FUNimation Productions is suing a group of related companies in Southern California for allegedly selling counterfeit DVDs of its licensed anime on a website. FUNimation is alleging that a California resident named Hae Yong Ro and four affiliated businesses — N Trading, Inc, Discount Anime DVD, BuyDVD.com, and DOES — infringed on FUNimation and its licensers’ copyrights and trademarks by selling unauthorized copies of Fruits Basket, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragonball GT, and Fullmetal Alchemist. Some of the DVDs are said to have included English dubbing. Read Full article here

Anyways, I found this article to be interesting because it was posted on my birthday and one of the sites was were one of my birthday presents was going to come from. With this said I had to look around and research a bit more to find legitimate anime product retails sites. LOL good thing I didn’t purchase anything from the DiscountAnimeDVD.com site like I was originally planning. I guess to say the it can be quite hard to trust some web site retail stores these days. Especially if you like collecting anime dvd and such.

BTW, I Originally submitted this post to the Otaku tidbit on generationotaku.net.

But anyways I thought this would be something to share with you all.

Thanks for reading.

Well now it’s a new month. So I hope that you all had a Happy Halloween and stuff. It seems I still slacking off on some anime reviews, hopeful I get one or two done this month. I’ve just been kind of busy. Anyways, well I had a pretty good birthday, had some Korean food for my b-day dinner, mmmmm good. Now I’m waiting to see if I will get my Elfen Lied box set that I had asked for. This will be my first box set. Nothing too much else going on. I started watching Someday Dreamers, which isn’t too bad so far. I also am giving Soul Eater a look as well. I’m still watching Bleach, frist season of Code Geass and Moribito, slowly but surely. I finish the second season of Zero no Tsukaima and started the third season. There are a few other animes I have watched from DVD rented from Blockbuster Total access. But I don’t like the selection of anime blockbuster has. Anyways, that’s about it for the moment. Thanks for reading. 😀
