Death Note live action DVD case

Hello everyone and how is it going today or what ever time you are reading this post. Things are not going to bad here. I have been pretty busy lately with work and trying to get the rest of my wedding stuff done before my wedding. Plus, I really have been trying to finish the much need work for my business so its has been kind of stressful plus struggling with our finances with vet bill and the loss of one of our beloved cats which I plan on writing a post for her here soon. Anyways, I got here a review of the live action Death Note, the Japanese version.

Anime Title: Death Note (Live action)

Anime Type: movie/live action

Number of Episodes/Parts: 1

Genre/Theme: drama, horror, mystery, psychological, supernatural

Summary:

Yagami Light is a brilliant college student who, one day, finds a notebook simply titled “Death Note.” Inside of this book is a list of rules and details as for the use of the “Death Note.” When he realizes the power he holds, he decides he’s going to make over the world. He wants to make it into a better place by killing those who do others harm. He has been nicknamed by the police “Kira.” L, a brilliant detective who lives in secrecy, rises from the shadows and puts his life on the line trying to capture Light. Both L and Light believe themselves on the side of Justice, and the two match wits trying to show exactly which of them is “good” and which of them is “evil.”

Rating (from a scale of 1-10): 10

Own Thoughts or Takes The Anime: I love this live action though I know the story as I seen the anime series before this came out. But I have watched both English dub and subbed. The above image is my DVD which has both. But anyways, back to the actual review, sorry I got to try and remember some may not have seen the anime or read the manga. Now the story doesn’t go as much in detail as the anime and  there is a second part this as well. Ryuk, the Shinigami which translates to gods of death or death gods, is probably one of my most favorite characters. (Shinigami info on Wikipedia) You will see when you watch this, I just don’t want to give out spoilers. Now, I think both Light and L do some fucked up shit in the name of justice, not so righteous in my opinion. Now I give this Death Note live action movie a 10 out of 10. It’s a must watch if you like this style of anime/live action or what ever.
